Week Of Nails

I've become pretty well known around my 6th form as being the chick with the claws, it's not the greatest label but one I'm willing to live with. I am obsessed with stiletto nails at the moment, I hate not having them on. Admittedly they are a bitch to type with if you have a touch screen phone, and write with, or draw, or use a computer... ok so they make life pretty difficult, but they make up for it by being so awesome. I have had to make my friends open all of my drinks recently as it is impossible haha. I do all of my nails myself, I use KISS nails and glue and I have found that they stay on for well over a week if I'm careful, though they don't tend to survive too well if I'm drunk or on a night out, I always wake up and find I've lost one.

I am SO in love with my new shorts. I got them from my step dad for my 18th birthday, which admittedly was over a month ago, but he gave me a Topshop voucher which I assumed had £10 on, turns out it was worth £50! So to treat myself I bought these amazing shorts and the bracelet. 

Sorry for the appalling quality of these photos, but it turns our my iPhone doesn't take decent photos without full sunlight. So if anyone wants a clearer picture of any of the jewelry I'm wearing here just let me know and I'll post up a clearer picture. 

Ahhh South Africa in 18 sleeps! Cant wait!

 I doubt I can explain how in love I am with this dress, it's just so purty! I know it barely looks like a dress here but I should mention I have gathered it quite a bit to make it look more like a top, although I do still tend to wear a black skirt underneath it when I do wear it as a dress as it is a smidge short. A quick warning, if you are ordering clothes off ARK I would go for something a size larger than your regular size as the clothes are made for rather petite people, which I am most certainly not. Other than that I absolutely love the website. All of my orders came really quickly and are actually all really good quality considering I didn't spend more than £25 on anything I bought. I also got free delivery as I spent over £15, which is a pretty sweet deal. I have been going a bit overboard on the online shopping recently so I may do a quick haul post sometime soon, so leave me a quick comment if you would like me to do that. 

Also, just in-case anyone is interested, my rings here are basically the same ones that were in my last outfit post but if you have any questions on where I got any just leave me a comment and I'll reply as soon as I can

Study Leave in Pictures

So obviously I did spend some of my study leave actually revising for my exams, but luckily for me my exams were all over within the first week! So I got another 3 weeks off, which was made even more exciting by the fact that I had just turned 18, which in England is the age where you can finally go out, hence the pictures of alcohol and talking to policemen. The weather was pretty decent as well so my friends and I had several BBQs and water fights :) usually accompanied by a beer or 2 (I'm abusing my new rights as an 18 year old)

 I'll keep this apology short and sweet as I seem to do them at the start of most of my posts. I AM SORRY THAT I DISAPPEARED.. again. Thankfully my exams are now done and I can put my attention back on my blog. 

So I have been going through a tomboy phase recently, as most people at my 6th form will tell you. I'm really into snapbacks and hi tops at the moment and have my little heart set on the metallic hi tops from Topshop (I'll feature them in my next lusts post). I have also been going overboard on the rings lately, as you'll know if you follow me on instagram (@emsieboo). And on that topic, I recently got the iPhone 4S which is a nice change from my old broken BlackBerry, which was practically on the verge of exploding, so be prepared for a change in scenery once in a while as I will probably take a few pictures outside when the weather cheers up a little.   

Anyway, I am rambling now (: hope everyone had a good half term and jubilee and good luck if you're doing exams at the moment!

Curse Of Curves

So this is just going to be a super quick post so I don't feel like I'm neglecting this page. I recently found an old pair of jeans which I never wear and decided I fancied making a pair of distressed shorts out of them, and these are the results. I'm still planning on bleaching and studding them though when I get the chance. Speaking of bleaching, you may be able to tell that I have re-dipdyed my hair again, finally! I have been saying I'll do it for months, it has taken soo long. I really like it, though it is a lot blonder than last time. If you would like to know how I did my hair I did a blog post on it several months ago which will be in my blog bar somewhere. Also you can see I got that backpack I was lusting over last month. I mainly had to get it because I have serious whip lash and carrying a regular bag around strains it, so I guess it was a blessing in disguise, though I am also planning on studding this when I get the chance.
